Wildlife

Experience

In Fall of 2023, I obtained a position as a Zookeeper at the world famous Doc’s Zoo in Bonduel, WI.

There, I cared for all kinds of animals — from kangaroos to alligators, macaws and porcupines.

I’ve wanted to work with alligators and venomous snakes since I was eight years old, and I’m one of the few who can say they’ve lived out their childhood dream!

Certifications

I attended a venomous snake handling course in Kalamazoo, MI shortly after, a one-of-a-kind training program spear-headed by The Rattlesnake Conservancy.

After 16 hours of learning and hands-on experience, I was able to obtain my Level 1 Certificate in Venomous Snake Handling.

In February of 2025, I traveled to Jacksonville, FL and Melrose, FL to further my training, receiving my Level 2C Certificate in Venomous Snake Handling in a Captive Setting.
